The homepage gives nearly every topic the same dense bordered-card treatment, making the research, current lab state and ways to contribute hard to distinguish. This redesign gives OHL an identity built around hardware inspection: large typography, paper and forest-green surfaces, an original exploded assembly illustration, and a clearer route from research questions to evidence and contribution.
The research index supports pointer and keyboard selection, and all four tracks remain readable without JavaScript. Mobile navigation, a skip link and reduced-motion support accompany the new layout. Shared navigation, typography and footer also cover the terms and 404 pages. Fonts are hosted locally with their licenses; the client script is approximately 3 KB and makes no network requests.
The public inventory remains honestly empty, and the intake conditions, payment destination, support terms and independence boundaries are preserved. The support return message no longer treats a query parameter as proof of payment. Wrangler's locked version is updated within its existing allowed range, clearing the inherited dependency advisory.
Validation:
npm run check,npm run build,npm run validate, all ninenpm testchecks andwrangler deploy --dry-runpass. The dependency audit reports zero vulnerabilities. Interaction and document tests are included in CI.Visual QA limitation: desktop/mobile browser walkthrough and assistive-technology checks could not be completed. The browser tool's policy-verification service was unavailable for both the production URL and localhost, so these checks could not be completed. The standalone illustration and sharing artwork were rendered and inspected.
