Not sure if can be done cleaner, but if fails for the abuse flag, then it will try either enabling / disabling it from the default. This allows when downloading a whole folder with "mixed" files that have and have not been marked can all be downloaded after at least two tries. It just re-creates the download object stream with the new flag. This has allowed me to download the majority of files (still running into some other issues with maybe 1 or 2 of a thousand files failing).
