What:
Added idiomatic, table-driven unit tests for various functions that previously had 0.0% test coverage across the core, handlers, and main packages.

Functions covered include:

  • core: RemoveIPSessionIndex, SyncSessionIndexes, reconcileIndexSets, SetBcryptCost, FormatDevice
  • handlers: GenerateRecoveryCodes, RenamePasskey, RevokePasskey, DisableTOTP, TerminateAllOtherSessions, validateTOTP, identifyWebAuthnUser
  • main: CreateIPExtractor

Coverage:

  • statement coverage for the above functions went from 0% to high percentages.
  • core/redis_sync_test.go was created specifically for sync operations.
  • Appended tests logically to security_test.go, profile_test.go, webauthn_test.go, and main_test.go.

Result:
Overall test coverage increased significantly. All unit tests successfully pass, protecting primary execution paths from future regressions.
