Summary

  • Adds the public-site content contract: markdown + YAML frontmatter files under src/content/site/, loaded and validated at build time by siteContent.ts. Validation collects every file's errors (missing fence, malformed YAML, BOM-prefixed files, bad fields, duplicate ids/anchors) instead of failing on the first one.
  • Builds /how-it-works and /security on that content, and adds a shared PublicLayout (header with mobile menu, footer, hash scrolling). /, /legal, /about and /contact now go through it too, so footer links to /legal#privacy / #terms land on the right section. Auth-flow pages (login, register, reset, etc.) are unchanged.
  • Adds a frontend ESLint ratchet (npm run lint:ci, baseline 87) to CI and the pre-push hook, so the existing lint backlog can only shrink.

Note: moving / under PublicLayout replaces the landing page's in-page anchor nav with links to the new pages, and Request Demo now goes to /contact. This covers part of group 3 (#375) and group 2's CTA change.

Test plan

  • npx vitest run: 374 tests pass
  • npm run lint:ci: 87 problems, at baseline; ESLint clean on touched files
  • Regression tests: footer Privacy Policy link scrolls to #privacy; / and /legal render exactly one shared header/footer; BOM file parses; multiple file errors are reported together; a second sector-validation anecdote renders
  • npx tsc --noEmit -p tsconfig.app.json: fails repo-wide with an existing config issue (no @/ paths or vitest globals in tsconfig.app.json), not introduced here
  • Manual check of /, /how-it-works, /security, /legal#terms at phone width

Closes #373

…ages (#373)

Introduce the markdown+frontmatter content contract and loader so public
copy lives in src/content/site instead of JSX, with build-time validation
that aggregates every file's errors (including fence/YAML/BOM issues).

Add a shared PublicLayout (header with mobile menu, footer, hash scroll)
and route every public marketing page through it, including / and /legal,
so footer links to /legal#privacy and #terms land on the right section.

Add a frontend lint ratchet (lint:ci, BASELINE=87) enforced in CI and the
pre-push hook, so the existing ESLint backlog can only shrink.

Project Deployment Actions Updated
grant-flow Ready Ready Preview Oct 1, 2026 4:58pm UTC

Add About and Contact pages on the site content loader, with unconfirmed
claims (CIC status, pilot schedule, time commitment) shipped as drafts.

Move the demo-request form into DemoRequestForm with organisation type,
reporting-time and pilot-interest fields, still posting to web3forms.

Define the brand palette as Tailwind @theme tokens and use brand-* classes
in the public site instead of inline styles; brand.ts now references the
CSS variables so the hex values live in one place.

… design, specs and tasks

Resolves the five open questions from the skeleton proposal (reindex
trigger, guide-doc chunking/publishing, golden dataset ownership, gate
tolerance, unanswerable-question scoring) and adds design.md, delta specs
for site-knowledge-index/site-retrieval/retrieval-evaluation, and tasks.md.
