For Kiosk mode, I wonder if it's possible to make the Home Assistant sidebar disappear. Our current setup is a Windows device in kiosk mode, so removing the HA sidebar would provide the full Skylight experience.
Dug into this. Found a real, concrete bug plus a possible terminology mismatch worth calling out explicitly — covering both so this doesn't leave anything unresolved.
The bug (fixed, #51 merged): Settings > Display has a Kiosk Mode toggle that did nothing at all. App.tsx never read settings.kioskMode anywhere — the Sidebar always rendered and the layout always reserved space for it regardless of the setting. Kiosk Mode now actually hides the sidebar and collapses to a single full-width column.
If "Kiosk Mode" in your case meant something else: sometimes "kiosk mode" is shorthand for hiding Home Assistant's own ingress/sidebar shell around the add-on (not Beacon's internal sidebar, which is what the Settings toggle above controls). If that's what you're after, this project already has an answer for it: Standalone Mode — running Beacon as its own direct Docker container outside of HA's ingress, which bypasses HA's shell entirely and gives you just the dashboard, full-screen, no HA chrome. See the README/docs for the standalone Docker setup.
Let me know if either of these doesn't match what you were hitting and I'll keep digging.
