What Changed
Claude background activity now detects and surfaces Codex subagents launched during a session, so their work is visible alongside the parent Claude task.
Why
Codex subagents can run in the background without clear visibility in the conversation. Reporting them makes delegated work easier to follow and prevents background activity from appearing unexplained.
