Summary

  • Move @askrjs/askr (peer + dev) and @askrjs/vite to >=0.3.0 <0.4.0.
  • README.md: “styling-only compatibility anatomy” → “styling-only catalog anatomy”.

Package version: 0.2.4 → 0.3.0.

Release coordination

Part of the coordinated 0.3.0 breaking release across the Askr package set.

  • Publish wave 3 of 5.
  • Cannot be published until wave 2 is on npm.

Validation

  • CI is red at the npm ci / vp install step with ETARGET … no matching version found for @askrjs/…@>=0.3.0 <0.4.0. This is expected until the upstream wave publishes; it is not a code failure.
  • package-lock.json still resolves @askrjs/* at 0.2.x. The lockfile needs regenerating once the upstream packages are on npm — publishing alone will not turn this check green.

The 0.2.4 entry was the last one recorded; add the 0.3.0 range bump so the
changelog covers the release being published.
The 0.3.0 prep bumped the declared ranges but left the resolved tree pinned at
0.2.x, so npm ci could not satisfy package.json. Re-resolve now that the
upstream packages are on npm.
The README moved from 'styling-only compatibility anatomy' to 'styling-only
catalog anatomy' as part of dropping compatibility vocabulary, but the docs
contract still asserted the old string.
@askrjs/askr 0.3.0 renders boolean attributes bare in real browsers, so a
disabled textarea now serializes as <textarea disabled> rather than
disabled="true". That is correct HTML, and the component contract is unchanged:
node.disabled is true, aria-disabled="true" and data-disabled="true" are still
emitted.

Only the Playwright spec pinned the old serialization; assert presence instead.
The jsdom suite still observes disabled="true" and passes either way.
