Sorry, I abandoned this years ago ! I got the excellent documentation from John Pultorak's website: https://www.ibiblio.org/apollo/Pultorak.html
Might go back to this project one day, I'd be happy to know about your progress if you are planning to work on a VHDL implementation of this.

Thank you for your rapid reply. I was orienting for a new project for my VHDL class.
I had to make some corrections to the VHDL to make the code compile. When you like I can do a pull request.
