Welcome to AUXPAD! 🎉
AUXPAD is an online productivity tool that helps people take better meeting notes. It combines a really good Markdown editor with state of the art speech-to-text technology.
What you will have access to in this repo is part of our speech recognition flow: streaming a audio recording from a placeholder frontend UI to our backend Node.js server.

We are both undergraduates at Brown University with a background in Computer Science. We are taking a leave of absence this year to pursue this startup.

Start by installing the relevant dependencies
npm install --prefix client
npm install --prefix serverBuild the app
npm run build --prefix clientThen spin up the React App.
npm run startOpen http://localhost:8080/ to see the app in action! We recommend Chrome.
To stop the server, send an INT signal with Ctrl + C
