Prerequisites

• Database: MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQLite
• Hardware (Optional): USB RFID Card Reader (Keyboard Emulator mode)

Installation Guide

Follow these step-by-step instructions to get a copy of the project up and running on your local machine for development and testing purposes.

1. Clone the Repository

git clone https://github.com/your-username/presensia.git
cd presensia

2. Install PHP Dependencies

composer install

3. Install NPM Dependencies & Build Assets

npm install
npm run build

4. Environment Configuration

Duplicate the .env.example file to create your local .env file:

cp .env.example .env

Open the .env file and configure your database credentials:

5. Generate Application Key

php artisan key:generate

6. Run Migrations

Create the necessary database tables:

php artisan migrate

7. Create an Admin Account (Filament)

To access the executive dashboard, you need to create an administrative user:

php artisan make:filament-user

Follow the interactive prompt to set your Name, Email, and Password.

8. Serve the Application

Start the Laravel local development server:

php artisan serve
