MailPaw is a free, privacy-first email template builder for newsletters, campaigns, announcements, outreach, and polished everyday emails. It runs as a standalone web app, stores templates locally in your browser, and gives you copy-ready email content plus downloadable backup files.
MailPaw helps you create reusable email templates without signing up for a hosted email marketing platform. It is built for people who want a lightweight alternative to tools like Mailchimp, Constant Contact, Beehiiv, ConvertKit, Substack editors, and other campaign builders when they only need to design and reuse good-looking email HTML.
Use MailPaw to build:
- newsletter templates
- product launch emails
- event announcements
- customer updates
- founder notes
- community emails
- sales outreach
- onboarding emails
- promotions and coupons
- internal team updates
MailPaw stores your template library in your own browser on your own computer. Your email drafts, saved templates, styling choices, and reusable blocks are not uploaded to a MailPaw cloud account.
Because browser storage is local, download backup copies of important templates. Backups make it easy to restore your library later or move it to another browser.
- Drag-and-drop email template builder
- Reusable blocks for headings, text, buttons, images, dividers, spacers, social links, columns, and raw HTML

MailPaw is a standalone web app. It cannot automatically insert into every mail client. Different email clients handle pasted HTML differently, so always send yourself a test email before sending a real campaign.
npm install
npm test
python3 -m http.server 4173Then open:

Most email marketing tools are built around lists, campaigns, subscribers, forms, analytics, automations, and paid sending plans. MailPaw is intentionally smaller: it is for designing reusable email templates while keeping the actual template content private and local.
It is useful when you want a clean email layout builder, not another hosted account holding your writing.
MailPaw is free. If it helped you, you can buy me a coffee as a thank you.
