Bergfex Ratings

A Chrome extension that displays user ratings on Bergfex ski resort and summer destination overview pages.

✨ Features

• Rating Badges – Shows aggregate ratings next to each resort/destination name
• Color Coding:
  • 🟢 Green (≥4.5) – Excellent
  • 🟢 Lime (≥4.0) – Very Good
  • 🟡 Gold (≥3.5) – Good
  • 🟠 Orange (≥3.0) – Okay
  • 🔴 Red (<3.0) – Poor
• Sort & Filter – Sort by rating and filter by minimum rating
• Statistics – Shows average rating and resort count
• International – Works on ALL Bergfex sites worldwide
• Summer Support – Also works on summer destination pages

🚀 Installation

Manual Installation

1. Download or clone this repository
2. Open chrome://extensions/ in Chrome
3. Enable Developer mode (top right)
4. Click Load unpacked
5. Select the bergfex-rating-extension folder

📖 Usage

Navigate to any regional overview page on Bergfex:

Winter (Ski Resorts):

• https://www.bergfex.fr/frankreich/

Summer (Destinations):

• https://www.bergfex.at/sommer/kaernten/

The extension automatically:

1. Detects you're on an overview page
2. Fetches ratings for all listed resorts/destinations
3. Displays color-coded rating badges
4. Adds sorting and filtering controls

🔒 Privacy

This extension:

• Does NOT collect any personal data
• Does NOT use cookies, storage, or tracking
• Does NOT require any sensitive permissions
• Only fetches rating data from Bergfex pages you visit

All processing happens locally in your browser. See PRIVACY.md for full details.
