Trend analyses on water quality parameters for a given station/site (if there is sufficient time remaining after completion of 1 and 2).
Implement statistical trend analyses on data from a set of parameters defined for each station/site and where data is suitable (e.g. sufficient time series, meets criteria around allowable amount of missing data). The standard approach for trend analysis on water quality time-series data is the Mann-Kendall Trend Test with methods to accommodate for autocorrelation. The vendor can use existing R-packages available on-line or one adapted by Environmental Reporting BC (http://www.env.gov.bc.ca/soe/indicators/water/wells/index.html). The outputs of the trend analysis should include: summary results table for parameter trends by site, facet graphs of parameters with trend lines (e.g. data, trend line visible), and, if possible, a British Columbia map with colour-coded points denoting water quality trends (e.g. colour 1: one or more parameter significantly deteriorating; colour 2: all parameters stable; colour 3: one or more parameter significantly improving; colour 4: mixed significant results).
