keeps Codex running while its rollout receives events even when Windows retains an old file write time. Reads the active status above Codex's blank-separated prompt and ignores a stale idle poll while that status remains visible.

--skip-onboardingto the desktop and server. Dev MCP starts use it by default;skipOnboarding: falsekeeps the wizard available for tests. Existing preferences are preserved.verified the working-to-ready transition in the isolated desktop and both onboarding modes with viewed captures. Unit tests cover stale file timestamps, idle polls and settings persistence.
