Installation Steps:
Before you start the installation process you have to make sure about the following:

The WeMo Light Switch should be already installed to your electrical line and is working.

Wi-Fi router has active Internet connection.
Now you can follow the next steps:

Download and Install WeMo App.

Make sure your Wi-Fi network is ON and the WeMo Light Switch is located within the Wi-Fi range.

Go to Setting in your smartphone/tablet, then select Wi-Fi and then connect to WeMo network. It should be something similar to WeMo.Light.xxx.

Launch the Wemo App then change the device name and settings if needed then proceed.

Open Wi-Fi settings on your smartphone/tablet, and connect to your Wi-Fi network (Instead of the WeMo network).
Note: For added security, WeMo recommends the use of a password protected WiFi network when setting up the WeMo device.

Launch the WeMo App. Check the existing WeMo devices. Check if you can switch the WeMo Light Switch ON and OFF from your smartphone/tablet.
Congratulations! Now you have successfully configured your WeMo device to connect to your Wi-Fi network.
