The currency sweep bumped dependencies.dotenv to ^17.4.2 but a second declaration sat in devDependencies at ^16.5.0 — npm resolves one copy, but the manifest said two things and the fleet's version-currency ratchet correctly counted the stale one as a gap. The devDependencies entry is deleted; runtime code imports the same single copy it always got.
