Summary

  • Re-license the workspace from MIT to AGPL-3.0-only and replace the root LICENSE with the official GNU AGPL v3 text.
  • Add CLA.md for non-trivial contributions and document the CLA flow in CONTRIBUTING.md.
  • Update README, changelog, and the PR checklist to reflect the new license and CLA requirement.

Verification

  • cargo metadata --locked --format-version 1
  • cargo fmt --all -- --check
  • cargo test --locked --workspace
  • cargo clippy --locked --workspace --all-targets
  • cargo build --locked --workspace

Notes

The CLA grants broad sublicense/relicense rights while contributors retain copyright. Because this is legal text, it should receive maintainer/legal review before merge.
