The Glitchy Rush

The Glitchy Rush is an endless runner made in Unity (C#) for Game Off 2021.

The jam lasted about 4 weeks, but I could dedicate only ~1 week to development — focusing on rapid prototyping, fast iteration, and shipping a playable build. Submitted 3 hours 20 minutes before the deadline.

Play

Gameplay

Run through shifting worlds (from medieval vibes to near-future), dodge obstacles, and collect gears — with a “glitch” that changes the character/form as you progress.

Controls

  • Left / Right — slide
  • Up — jump

Tech

  • Engine: Unity
  • Language: C#
  • Platform: HTML5 (Web build)

Dev Notes

  • Time spent: ~1 week (within the ~4-week jam window)
  • Scope: small, jam-sized project (prototype → playable release)
