Presenting
Presenting your Talk with Power Polygon is so simple as present it with other tools, however, there are several tools and features that can help you to improve even more your presentation and ease your work.
The splash screen is a powerful and useful welcome screen that offers tools, add-ons, and useful links. This screen, when enabled (by default) it will be shown right after you access the address of your talk.
As any other presentation tool, you can use the arrows (left and right) to go ahead or go back your slides and actions. Also you can use Enter (Return) and Backspace to do the same.
You can bind commands to F6, F7, F8, F9 and F10 keys. See the documentation on [Advanced Settings] (Criando%20uma%20palestra#wiki-Defini%C3%A7%C3%B5es%20detalhadas) for further information.
The alt key offer extra features as well.
- goToSlide tool
- If you hold the
altkey it will show the “goToSlide” tool. - While you are holding the
altkey type the slide’s number you want to go/jump - Release the
altkey to jump to the slide.

alt+spacehotkey
Press the F key will open the search tool on the slides.
The Power Polygon toolbar offers several options and useful tools.
To access the toolbar during your talk move your cursor to the left corner of the screen, then the bar will show.
It allows you to:
- change the font size
- enter in fullscreen mode (or quit)
- enable or disable the camera
- show slides thumbnails
- search
- jump to slide
- open the print version of your talk.
The presentation tool is a window that can be opened, and remains opened on your monitor while your presentation is being shown on the projector.
This pop-up lists the notes for the current slide, the title of the next slide, elapsed time, besides it has arrows to go ahead and go back on your slides and show time alerts, when it is enabled
You can, by any time, click on the time in the bottom-right corner and change it(for cases when your talk starts a bit latter than the schedule, for example).
With Power Polygon you can easily enable your camera (webcam) to show to the audience.
- To resize the screen use the camera borders.
- Double-click on the video of you camera to enter or quit the camera’s fullscreen mode.
- Clicking and Dragging the image of your camera will move it around.
