What is obsidian-mind?

obsidian-mind is an Obsidian vault template that gives Claude Code persistent memory across sessions. Instead of starting fresh every conversation, Claude remembers your projects, decisions, people, and priorities — all stored as plain markdown in your vault.

Why does Claude Code need a memory vault?

Claude Code is powerful, but stateless. Every new session starts from zero. If you work on multi-week projects, track performance reviews, or manage incidents, you end up re-explaining context constantly.

obsidian-mind solves this with a structured vault that Claude reads and writes to automatically. Your notes become Claude's long-term memory.
