Brian Beals

I help enterprise CIOs, CDOs, and IT leaders get unstuck. The ones caught between fragmented data environments and stalled proofs-of-concept.

I've spent my career building enterprise technology practices. At Mainline, I grew the Business Analytics group from zero to $20M in five years. At Sirius, the Big Data and Analytics group went from $20M to $78M in under four years, a 3.9× increase. At LRS IT Solutions today, I founded and lead the AI, Analytics & Automation practice. Same playbook, third time. Vendor-neutral across modern data platforms, enterprise AI, intelligent automation, observability, and FinOps.

Sales leaders who haven't tried to build the thing tend to oversell it. I'd rather know what works.

This profile is where I keep myself honest.

What lives here

brianbeals.com: my personal site. Next.js on Vercel. Built it myself, ship updates myself.

sector-rotation-screener: scores the 11 SPDR sector ETFs against seasonality, economic-cycle fit, and relative strength, then backtests the methodology before trusting it. GitHub Actions runs it every Sunday, Claude writes the plain-language commentary, and the pipeline commits its own results and publishes a fresh dashboard to sector.brianbeals.com. The screener is a testbed for the analytical workflow I'd build for a CIO scoring macro exposures across business units: ingest the data, score it against multiple signals, output something a human can read, and prove it out historically before anyone trusts it.

More to come in the same vein: auditable, agent-driven tools that show what enterprise sales leaders should be able to build for themselves now that the tooling has caught up.

Where I do my best work

Building enterprise technology practices from scratch. Emerging technologies and the consultative work of landing them at enterprise scale: data, AI, analytics, automation, and what's coming next. AI-readiness conversations with CIOs and CDOs, the ones that translate executive ambition into a roadmap their teams can actually execute. Seller enablement at scale. Anywhere a Fortune 1000 or fast-moving mid-market company needs a GTM motion that didn't exist yesterday.
