Overview

Phase 5 documentation work ensures every major claim is traceable, navigation is reviewer-friendly, and release artifacts (reviewer guide, evidence checklist, known limitations) are complete. This issue consolidates all Phase 5 documentation tasks into a single execution plan.

Objectives

• Create a reviewer guide and evidence audit checklist.
• Improve IA and entry points for fast portfolio evaluation.
• Publish release notes and known limitations for v1.0 readiness.

Scope

Files to Create

1. docs/70-reference/evidence-audit-checklist.md — evidence validation checklist

   • Type: Reference Guide
   • Audience: Reviewers, maintainers
   • Purpose: Verify claims against code/config/docs

2. docs/00-portfolio/reviewer-guide.md — “how to review” guide

   • Type: Reference Guide
   • Audience: Recruiters, technical reviewers
   • Purpose: 10–15 minute validation path

3. docs/00-portfolio/known-limitations.md — known limitations and constraints

   • Type: Reference
   • Audience: Reviewers, stakeholders
   • Purpose: Disclose boundaries and intentional omissions

4. docs/00-portfolio/release-notes/ — v1.0 release note entry

   • Type: Release Notes
   • Audience: Reviewers, stakeholders
   • Purpose: Declare freeze and final state

• Known limitations: explicit constraints + rationale

• Validation steps (commands + outcomes)
• Limitations and boundaries

Implementation Tasks

Phase 1: Narrative & IA Refinement (6–8 hours)

• Update docs/index.md with clear reviewer paths
• Update docs/60-projects/index.md for “start here” guidance

Success Criteria:

• Navigation is reviewer-friendly
• Entry points are clear and short

Phase 2: Evidence Validation & Reviewer Guide (6–8 hours)

• Create evidence audit checklist

Success Criteria:

• Claims are traceable to evidence
• Reviewer guide validates portfolio in <15 minutes

Phase 3: Final Review & Freeze Artifacts (4–6 hours)

• Add known limitations doc

• Publish v1.0 release notes
  • File: docs/00-portfolio/release-notes/<date>-portfolio-v1.md

Success Criteria:

• Known limitations published
• Release notes published
