can't launch tracking initialization GUI

Hi, I was trying to use UDMT to track the animals. However, even i used your 5 mice demo videos, when I clicked the "STEP 2. Launch tracking initialization GUI", it took forever to extracting images. see details below:

Hi, thanks for reporting this issue.

From the traceback, this looks very likely to be caused by an incomplete or corrupted model checkpoint file, rather than the image extraction step itself. In particular, UDMT reports that the XMem model already exists and therefore skips downloading it:

File already exists at ...\xmem\saves\XMem.pth. Skipping download.

but then fails when loading the checkpoint:

_pickle.UnpicklingError: invalid load key, '\x0a'

This usually means that the .pth file is not a valid PyTorch checkpoint, for example because the download was interrupted, the file is incomplete, or the downloaded content is not the actual model file.

Please try deleting the existing XMem checkpoint and launching UDMT again, so that the model can be downloaded again:

del C:\Users\shahlab\UDMT\udmt\gui\tabs\xmem\saves\XMem.pth

If your network connection is unstable, we recommend manually downloading the pretrained models from the links listed in the README and placing them in the specified locations shown in the table:

After placing the files in the correct folders, please restart UDMT and run the demo again.

We will also improve the download check in a future version so that corrupted or incomplete model files are not mistakenly treated as valid.
