feat(docs): backport troubleshooting out-of-order samples in Mimir (#486)

Issue

Backport of #486. The PR that added the config option to Mimir will need to be backported to track 3, which is why we should backport the docs as well.

Solution

In addition to the cherry picking, we also fix a spelling issue in the hardening guide.
