Hello all,
this is not an issue but I wanted to advertise what I have been vibe-hacking today to make writing bots a bit more easy.
It is a fork of the 'Guild Wars Map Browser' that extends to a 'Route Planner' feature.
The fork can be found here https://github.com/n1kn4x/GuildWarsMapBrowser.
I don't know if the maintainer of GWMapBrowser is interested in this feature, but the automation community will, I think.
The Route Planner in GWMapBrowser lets you:
- Load map data from the GW.dat directly
- Click together a series of waypoints and displays them on a 2D top-down map and a 3D render of the map. The spellcasting range around every waypoint is also displayed.
- Export and Import waypoints as CSV.
I think this eases the creation of some bots, as I always thought that getting out the coordinates was annoying.
Now one doesn't need to open GW to write a new bot, I believe.
I am happy for any feedback :)
