Strategy Instance

The Strategy Instance entity represents the action that will be executed when its parent Trigger Instance has been triggered. For now, a Strategy Instance will spawn the Deployment Container selected by the user. This can be done using the Edge_Trigger knoblet and the subsequent Edge_Trigger connect menu.

NOTE: Currently, even though MEDEA allows a Strategy Instance to connect to multiple Deployment Containers, the back-end only supports one connection, and hence one Edge_Trigger.

Children

This entity cannot adopt any children.

Dependents

This entity does not have any dependent entities.

Dependencies

This entity does not depend on any entities.

Editable Data Fields

This entity does not have any editable data fields.

• Container_reference - this gets set when the Edge_Trigger has been connected

Can have the following edges attached to it:
