🧬 About Me

I'm a computational biologist with a decade of experience bridging experimental biology, machine learning, and bioinformatics to drive translational research. My work spans:

  • Single-cell transcriptomics — scRNA-seq pipeline development (Snakemake/Docker), multi-species analysis in epilepsy research (Krembil/UHN)
  • Translational oncology — ML-based patient stratification models deployed in clinical trials; multi-omics target discovery (Princess Margaret Cancer Centre/UHN)
  • Systems & metabolic modelling — genome-scale metabolic models of human adipocytes; open-source tools EFMviz and ComMet (PhD, Maastricht University)

I'm a Canadian Bioinformatics Workshops instructor (scRNA-seq, Pathways & Networks, R) and a certified Carpentries instructor.
