(1) what you’ve worked on in the previous two weeks

• I have worked on Landing Page
• I have also made the Navbar which could be used across different pages
  • We will be able to modify the buttons in the NavBar by passing in different Props to the component
  • This is needed because the Landing Page and the Main Page require routes to different pages
• Currently the buttons routes to the path of the component
  • So if I press “Home”, it would route to Home component
  • If I press “Login”, it would route to Login component

(2) what you’ll be working on in the next two weeks

• Implement data parser
• Illustrating different types of graphs using the data input

(3) where you might have gotten stuck during the last two weeks.

• Implementing the Router component was troublesome. I had to carefully divide up the Router and Switch components so we can have dynamic buttons on the Navigation Bar for different pages.

1. What did you work on this past iteration (2 weeks)?

• Created the LoginSignup component to switch between the login and signup forms and a reusable modal component, hooking it up to be triggered on button click
• Setup theme and colours for app

2. What were any major issues/challenges you ran into?

• Coming up with a consistent theme/style and colour scheme that looks sleek
• Managing and delegating tasks was confusing - we should create tickets to keep track of what we're working on

3. What do you plan to work on for this coming iteration (2 weeks)?

• Setting up the redux store for our app so that we can manage state, fix the buttons in login and signup to route to dashboard

As a team, we had three mid-sprint meetings for the last sprint during which we discussed the design of our app and also set up the router component. Personally, I worked on creating the react components for two of the pages of our app, the dashboard, and the view page.
The major issue for me was dividing the tasks between each team member, we had a rough idea of what each of us had to do but not a concrete set of task items.
For the upcoming sprint, I will continue to work on more react components, at the same time learning more about the express framework.

I was responsible for creating the category picker page where users can select a category and drag and drop each item in an appropriate category filter view.

the next step is to add the drag and drop functionality which I will need to do further research on the available external library.

My main struggle was creating the collapsible filter div and the position of things on the page using flex box.
