Thanks for reporting this. StreamVault currently supports one active playlist source rather than maintaining a list of named providers. After entering the Xtream server URL, username, and password, selecting Connect & Sync should save the source and begin loading its categories.

If that button does nothing or displays an error, could you share:

    • Samsung TV model and Tizen version
    • How you installed the widget
    • How and where the StreamVault backend is running
    • The exact error or loading message shown
    • Relevant backend logs from when you select Connect & Sync

Please redact your username, password, and provider details before posting them.

Do you have a PC, NAS, or Raspberry Pi on the same network that can run Docker?

You are not doing anything wrong. I checked the StreamVault package currently distributed through Apps2Samsung. It comes from a community build and has http://10.1.0.200:3002 embedded as its StreamVault backend address. That is a private address from the build environment, so it will not exist on your network and explains the Failed to fetch message.

StreamVault currently needs two separate servers:

    1. StreamVault Server URL — the StreamVault backend running on your own PC/NAS/Pi, normally http://<device-ip>:3002
    2. Xtream Server URL — the server supplied by your IPTV provider

The TV widget cannot currently work from the Xtream credentials alone. Backend logs also come from the PC/NAS/Pi running StreamVault, not from the TV.

Tell us which device and operating system you could run the backend on, and we will provide the exact setup steps. Please do not post your Xtream username or password.

I am also fixing the application so public widgets do not embed a build-machine address and so this situation shows a clear backend-connection message instead of Failed to fetch.

    Thank you Christopher,
I will like to run the backend on a proxmox with lxc/docker
    Thanks

Is Docker already installed inside the Proxmox LXC? A Debian or Ubuntu LXC with Docker will work.

    From inside the LXC, run:

    git clone https://github.com/christopherklint97/streamvault.git
    cd streamvault
    docker compose up -d --build
    curl --fail http://127.0.0.1:3002/api/health

Then find the LXC's LAN IP:

    hostname -I

From another device on the same network, confirm that http://<lxc-ip>:3002/api/health opens. If it does, enter http://<lxc-ip>:3002 under StreamVault Server URL on the TV and select Connect. After it connects, enter the Xtream server URL, username, and password under Xtream Codes Login and select Connect & Sync.

If the health URL is not reachable, make sure the Proxmox/LXC firewall allows TCP port 3002. Backend logs are available with:

    docker compose logs -f server

If Docker is not installed yet, which Linux distribution is the LXC using, and is it privileged or unprivileged?

The application-side fix has now merged in #46. It adds backend-first setup, clearer connection errors, safe runtime backend switching, and prevents public widgets from embedding a builder's private IP.

The Apps2Samsung package you installed is still the old community build; it has been temporarily withdrawn while a corrected widget is prepared, so this merge will not update the TV automatically.

For the provider problem, please update the backend first:

    cd streamvault
    git pull --ff-only
    docker compose up -d --build

Then leave this running while selecting Connect & Sync on the TV:

    docker compose logs -f server

What exact message does the TV show, and what error appears in those server logs at the same time? Please redact the Xtream server address, username, password, and any URLs containing credentials before posting the output.

Hi, again , is it possible to add the xc url and credentials in docker? thanks

Thanks for the logs. The TV is reaching the StreamVault backend, but Sync aborted: no source configured means the backend does not have a complete source saved yet. It does not tell us that your Dispatcharr credentials are wrong.

Could you open http://<lxc-ip>:3002 on a phone or computer, go to Settings, enter the Dispatcharr Xtream URL, username and password there, and select Connect & Sync? The settings are stored by the backend, so you do not need to put those credentials in Docker Compose. Please keep them out of this issue and any screenshots or logs.

Does the sync work from the browser, and can the TV see the channels afterward? That will help separate a backend/source problem from a problem in the older Apps2Samsung widget. The withdrawn widget will not update automatically; I don’t have a release date for its replacement yet.

Manage to get it working ,one last question Is it possible to enter xc address local? http://192.168.x.x and not http://nice.tv.yy ?
    Thanks

  13. christopherklint97 commented on Sep 25, 2026

Glad you got it working. For your last question: not with a raw http://192.168.x.x Xtream address on the current backend. StreamVault currently rejects private-IP Xtream URLs at config validation (xtreamServer: URL host is not allowed), even though the separate StreamVault Server URL can be your LXC’s LAN address. Please keep using the working Xtream hostname for now; safe LAN-source support is tracked in #52. Don’t post your XC credentials or playlist URLs here.

The Apps2Samsung catalog entry is still disabled while the corrected widget is prepared. There is no confirmed release date; we’ll post here when a replacement has been published and checked on a TV. Installing a widget will still require the separate StreamVault backend.

Could you test the new Tizen 5 widget on your QE49Q70RATXXC using Apps2Samsung’s custom/local WGT option? Does it launch, connect to your separate StreamVault backend, browse and play live/VOD with your Dispatcharr LAN Xtream URL? Installation steps. Please don’t post credentials. The GitHub widget is published, but the Apps2Samsung catalog entry remains disabled until a real-TV test confirms it works.
