- Slim README from 196 to 54 lines — keeps quick start, features, config table, and links to detailed docs - Move architecture, auth, models, development, and metadata maintenance guides to docs/ - Add prompt caching feature spec in .kiro/specs/prompt-caching/ with requirements, design, and implementation tasks - Document current state: caching not yet implemented, what it is, which models support it, and the planned approach - Bump version to 0.2.2
- Change package name to bedrock-vscode-copilot, publisher to ciotlos - Update all repo URLs from aristide1997/bedrock-vscode-chat to ciotlos/bedrock-vscode-copilot - Update description to include Nova and DeepSeek models - Add copyright line to LICENSE (MIT requires keeping original) - Remove .kiro references from docs — use generic "planned for future" - Homepage now points to GitHub repo instead of aws.amazon.com
Standardize on consistent naming: - Extension: "AWS Bedrock Provider for GitHub Copilot Chat" - Short name: "AWS Bedrock" - Config section: "AWS Bedrock Provider" - Commands: "AWS Bedrock: Manage Provider", "AWS Bedrock: Open Settings" - Output channel: "AWS Bedrock" (was "Bedrock Chat") - Error messages: "Bedrock request failed" (was "Bedrock chat request failed") Fixes: - Remove platform-specific Ctrl+Shift+P from authMethod description - Remove redundant "AWS Bedrock: Configure AWS Bedrock" (category + title) - Update all docs references to match new command/channel names - Rebrand to ciotlos/bedrock-vscode-copilot - Add copyright line to LICENSE - Remove .kiro references from docs
