What

#1070 left the Go examples for the plan builder with one index README. When you open one example directory on GitHub, you see its code and nothing that explains it. To follow the code, you need to read the plan, which is 1,246 lines long.

This PR adds a README.md to each example directory that contains code, and links them from the index README.

Why

  • You can understand one example without reading the whole plan first.
  • The Golang SDK for CipherStash Stack does not exist yet, so each page must say that its code does not build.
  • stashgen does not exist, so each page that shows a _stash.go file says that a person wrote it by hand.
  • A program that prints a tagged struct shows its plaintext, so the pages warn you where this applies.

How

  • Outcomes first. Each page lists what you learn, then gives one section for each idea, with its purpose and links to the plan.
  • Plain language. The prose follows ASD-STE100 and ISO 24495-1, with one sentence per line, one word for each idea, and the active voice.
  • Exact excerpts. Each code excerpt is an exact copy of lines in its file, with a link to those lines.
  • One status table. Each page links the index README, which has the only "What was checked" table.
  • Script check. A script compares each excerpt with its linked lines, and checks each link, anchor and sentence length.

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • Documentation
    • Added a detailed plan-builder walkthrough covering account, contact, document, individual, and user encryption examples, along with code generation, protobuf rules, database integrations, and query patterns.
    • Clarified how planned examples map data categories to encrypted storage and noted that the SDK is not yet available, so the examples do not currently build.
    • Updated the plan overview and protobuf terminology.

Comment @coderabbitai help to get the list of available commands.

Add a README.md to every example directory that contains code. Each one
walks through its files concept by concept, with excerpts copied from
the source and linked to their lines, and ends with the rows of the
index's "What was checked" table that apply to it.

The prose follows ASD-STE100 and ISO 24495-1. It says plainly that the
SDK and stashgen do not exist and that the _stash.go files are written
by hand.

Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_016Usf7cQGY6ULWGyZ4NHQEB
Open each walkthrough with "This example" rather than "This directory",
call the SDK "the Golang SDK for CipherStash Stack", and write CI
without expanding it, because every reader knows both terms. Link sqlc,
Fideslang and the Fideslang data categories where a walkthrough first
names them.

Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_016Usf7cQGY6ULWGyZ4NHQEB
Each walkthrough repeated rows of the index's "What was checked" table,
and nothing kept the copies in step with it. The opening line of each
page still links the index, which has the one table.

A "Needs" line mostly pointed back at the section before it, which the
order of the page already shows. Also stop saying "carries" in prose.

Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_016Usf7cQGY6ULWGyZ4NHQEB
A field, a column, a file or a cipher does not hold or carry anything.
Write the literal verb instead: contains, has, stores or lists. Quoted
code comments keep their words, because an excerpt matches its source.

Recommendation: 🟢 merge as it is

Nothing must change before merging. This pull request changes 13 README.md files under docs/plans/2026-10-04-plan-builder/ and no .go files, so the Go review found no issues to report.

Run `buf generate` in this directory to generate the package again.
The committed files came from buf v1.50.0 and `protoc-gen-go` v1.26.0.
Adding a field to `Individual` does not stop the build.
CI runs `go generate ./...` and fails when a generated file differs from the committed file.

Describe the generated-file check as planned, not current CI behavior.

The current Go workflow does not run this drift check. The plan calls for it, but these examples present it as an existing CI behavior. Apply this wording at all four sites:

Suggested wording
-CI runs `go generate ./...` and fails when a generated file differs from the committed file.
+The plan calls for CI to run `go generate ./...` and fail when generated files differ from the committed files.
📝 Committable suggestion

‼️ IMPORTANT
Carefully review the code before committing. Ensure that it accurately replaces the highlighted code, contains no missing lines, and has no issues with indentation. Thoroughly test & benchmark the code to ensure it meets the requirements.

Suggested change
CI runs `go generate ./...` and fails when a generated file differs from the committed file.

Should we prioritize using EQL types as the examples instead of constructing output types manually?

A thought occurs. What happens if a user uses both an EQL type and tags at the same time? I guess it should be an error. I don't know when that would ever make sense.
