My name is Patrick Nowakowski! I am currently an Electrical Engineer at Motibera, Inc. in Madison, Wisconsin 🧀. I am working on designing many-phase motor drives for levitating bearingless motor systems and I specialize in power electronics, inverter design, and embedded systems development.
I did my undergrad in Computer Engineering with a focus on digital system design, and I completed my Master's Degree in the Wisconsin Electric Machines and Power Electronics Consortium (WEMPEC Lab), both at the University of Wisconsin - Madison 🦡.
In my time at WEMPEC as both an undergraduate and graduate student, I contributed heavily to the open-source Advanced Motor Drive Controller (AMDC) platform, doing both PCB design and embedded systems programming.
