👋 Jules, reporting for duty! I'm here to lend a hand with this pull request. When you start a review, I'll add a 👀 emoji to each comment to let you know I've read it. I'll focus on feedback directed at me and will do my best to stay out of conversations between you and other bots or reviewers to keep the noise down. I'll push a commit with your requested changes shortly after. Please note there might be a delay between these steps, but rest assured I'm on the job! 🎯 What: Modified
apps/server/internal/modules/auth/service.goto import and utilize the existing logger system for mock "sending" of the password reset email.💡 Why: A TODO commented that "For now, we just log it", but there was no actual log statement. Implementing actual email sending involves 3rd-party services and large scope creep. Fulfilling the mock logging instead helps code health and makes the reset feature debuggable in local dev by surfacing the token and generated link to the logs.
✅ Verification: Verified by formatting the file with
gofmtand running the full backend test suite (cd apps/server && go test ./...). All tests, including auth test suites, pass successfully.✨ Result: Improved codebase accuracy with its own documentation (the code actually "just logs it" now) and enabled easier local development of auth flows without full email setup.
