Insert layman What-is-this section into README, add Install section with pipx/uv/pip/source paths, add install.sh and install.ps1 for Linux/macOS/Windows.
- load_vuln_db: raise FileNotFoundError for missing files, ValueError for malformed JSON and entries missing required name/id fields - match_vulnerabilities: short-circuit on empty component list; skip DB entries that lack name or id (defensive against custom DBs) - scan_rootfs: broaden detector exception catch to include ValueError, KeyError, and UnicodeDecodeError so a corrupt package-DB never aborts the full scan - cli _cmd_scan: guard both --output write paths with OSError handling; exit 2 with a clear stderr message on failure - cli main: catch KeyboardInterrupt and unexpected exceptions at the top-level dispatcher so no raw traceback ever reaches the user - tests/test_hardening.py: 12 new tests covering all new error paths
