1.4
- MACHINEDRUM and SOPHIE play as loud as the stock machines (MACHINEDRUM +4.2 dB, SOPHIE +6.5 dB).
- MACHINEDRUM uses much less DSP: TRX, EFM and P-I models play on many more tracks before DSP LOAD reaches 100 %.
- MACHINEDRUM and SOPHIE voices that have gone silent cost no DSP.
- CHOR on PRE no longer spikes the DSP when fast notes restart it.
- CHOR and REVB on POST cost less DSP.
1.3
- LFO 3 is back: [MOD] has LFO 1, 2 and 3 again. Sounds saved on earlier Overtone versions keep ARP 2; their LFO 3 starts at the stock defaults.
- The [MOD] header says LFO (n/3) or Env Follower (n/2), and follows RIGHT / LEFT.
- Every LFO, envelope follower and arp knob is a destination for the others. No modulator targets itself.
- DEST lists have a group for each LFO, follower and arp, with a divider between groups.
- The arp's DEST opens the same list view as the LFO's: same layout, scrolling and hold speed. [NO] and [YES] return to the ARP page.
- Page changes respond faster.
1.2
- Instant pattern switch: hold [PTN] and press [YES] to turn it on, [NO] to turn it off (a message shows which for about a second; press again while [PTN] is held to change it back).
- While it is on, a pattern picked with [PTN] + [TRIG] takes over at the next step, at the place it would have reached had it played since PLAY. Chains, songs and program changes still change at the pattern's end. The setting is saved with the project.
1.1
- GROOVE reworked: a second [TEMPO] opens it (and switches back), presets on F, DRIFT on G (a new random offset every cycle; also the "Groove Drift" modulation destination), [TEMPO] + [YES] random weights, LEFT / RIGHT / UP / DOWN to edit (held arrows repeat), the playing step lit, each step's time shown on E.
- [FUNC] + [TEMPO] is tap tempo again.
1.0.1
- An OS sent with Transfer while Overtone runs now installs (1.0 stopped on Receiving or PREPARING...). Nothing else changed.
