The goal of this derivative of GNU Make is not to extend it with a new class of functionality, but to enhance its usability. Various books and articles have pointed out pitfalls in Make's syntax, competing tools have (rightly) critisized the idiosyncrasies in its syntax. I set out to address these issues, but to keep the changes in line with the spirit and syntax of Make.
