Install

# From source (requires Rust)
cargo install --path neon-snake

# Or download the binary from Releases

Play

neon-snake

Controls

Key Action
Arrow keys / WASD Move
P Pause / Resume
R Restart (after game over)
Q / Esc Quit

Features

  • Neon cyberpunk colors - Snake body cycles through cyan, purple, magenta, pink, yellow, green
  • Pulsing food - Diamond gem that pulses between red, gold, hot pink, and neon green
  • Speed ramp - Gets faster every 5 points
  • High score - Tracked in memory, shown on game over
  • Pause support - Press P anytime
  • Cross-platform - Works on Windows, macOS, and Linux

Build

cargo build --release

Binary output: target/release/neon-snake (~1.4MB)
