Core Red Project is the experimental and internal infrastructure realm of the Sxnnyside Project Ecosystem.
It is where Sxnnyside goes closer to the machine: systems work, technical experiments, developer tooling, unusual programming languages, and infrastructure that does not need a polished product around it.
A project can begin as an experiment and end up becoming something people actually use.
That happens here more often than it probably should たぶん
"Everything earns its place."
Core Red Project favors software that can explain why it exists, what it depends on, and where its limits are.
Complexity is not forbidden. Unnecessary complexity is.
✦ What's in the stack and why
| Technology | Role |
|---|---|
| Rust | Systems software, CLIs, daemons, and resource-conscious applications |
| C++20 | Hardware-oriented systems work and performance-sensitive software |
| Python | Machine learning tooling, desktop GUIs, and technical experimentation |
| Bun | Web backends, process supervisors, and internal automation |
| TypeScript | Editor tooling, extensions, and anything that talks to VS Code |
| Elixir | Distributed control and data planes for internal infrastructure |
| Deno | Lightweight scripting and runtime experiments |
The stack follows the experiment.
Nothing is here just because it is fashionable.
| Project | Description |
|---|---|
| Obfusku | An esoteric programming language built on symbols that resist surface reading — plus its LSP and VS Code extension. |
| Somnia | A procedural audio engine that never runs out of memory — infinite ambient sound for microcontrollers and terminals alike. |
| Orph | A local harness for offline, resource-constrained devices that expects nothing beyond the binary itself. |
| TensorSuggestLite | A tool that turns configuration files straight into trained classification models — no boilerplate, no hidden complexity. |
| Lacuna | A local binary compression tool that tests every algorithm in memory and keeps whichever one wins. |
| PsychoQuine | A universal quine generator that verifies every output live, byte for byte, across 18 canonical languages. |
| PM2 EID | A self-hosted control room for every PM2 process — with alerts wherever you already are. |
| Syntaxeon | An esoteric programming language where code is written as poetic prose. Still early — the repository exists before the code does. |
Core Red projects are released independently when they are ready to be useful outside the lab.
Open-source repositories are published here on GitHub. Selected builds and early releases may also be distributed through Patreon.
