Release candidate

FramePier 0.2.3: pinned, self-contained Windows installer sources and licensing materials for shared FFmpeg/LAME, yt-dlp 2026.08.19 rebuilt with Python 3.13/OpenSSL 3, Deno 2.9.7, and removal of the yt-dlp in-app self-updater. Existing Chrome/Brave/Edge extension/native helper design remains.

Verification completed locally (owner-supplied Windows output)

• Inno Setup 6.7.3 compiled FramePier-Setup-0.2.3.exe.
• Go tests and 100/100 JavaScript tests passed.
• yt-dlp.exe --version returned 2026.08.19 and curl-cffi impersonation targets were listed.
• YouTube format extraction with the packaged Deno runtime completed successfully.
• 116 missing Deno crate author notices collected.

Explicit limitations / gates

• Isolated clean-install testing skipped by owner decision, not a pass.
• In-app YouTube/Twitch/Dailymotion regression with replacement yt-dlp was not demonstrated; the YouTube CLI/Deno check passed.
• docs/redistribution-gate.md still records owner sign-off pending; V8/Chromium copyright notices were partly taken from unpinned upstream snapshots. Review release text and redistribution obligations before public publication.
• Source ZIPs must appear alongside the installer on the same GitHub release page, with clear source-download instructions; keep them available while distributing the installer.
• Prior v0.2.2 release GPL FFmpeg source availability remains a separate unresolved owner decision.
