What problem would this address?
Currently there is no stance on AI generated code in SeriousDB. I've previously seen some of the maintainers talking about AI within PRs, and how it's not admired. I think it would be a good idea to formalise the stance and usage of AI, and thus make all contributors aware of acceptable usage of AI.
What outcome would help?
By implementing this new policy, it would make code (often) have greater security, and possibly help fight bad code quality. The policy would make contributors aware of what they can expect if they use AI, and how the maintainers my treat their PR.
