Atlas can report a remote Valhalla as healthy while returning no routing region because its source PBF and provenance manifest live outside the app container. With
VALHALLA_COVERAGE_REGIONS=Germany,/api/v1/coveragenow reports Germany for routing and inherited map matching whenever local Valhalla provenance is unavailable. The value accepts comma-separated labels, is surfaced as operator-declared dataset metadata, and never replaces locally recorded provenance. Standard, development, comparison, and Dokploy Compose files forward the setting.
