Deno KV databases are replicated across at least three data centers in the

committed, its mutations are durably stored in a quorum of data centers within

Is "transits" the intended word here, or should it be "transmits"?

Yeah "transits" is correct here. As in, the data "travels through" the US

workloads that require EU-only data residency or strict GDPR guarantees, Deno KV
is not suitable in its current form. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest,
and KV is isolated per project, but we do not currently provide formal GDPR or
compliance documentation specific to KV.

For projects with strict GDPR compliance requirements, we recommend one of our
[Postgres database solutions](https://docs.deno.com/deploy/reference/databases/)
such as our
[Prisma integration](/deploy/reference/databases/#prisma-postgres-instances-and-claiming)
