Principal Engineer @ Qualcomm | Apache Airflow Committer & Code Owner
I'm passionate about making complex workflows feel simple β both in semiconductor chip design and in the open-source tools that power them.
At Qualcomm, I lead the workflow orchestration platform for the Snapdragon Oryon custom CPU team β think several hundred automated pipelines across multiple data centers, helping 1,000+ engineers design the chips that power billions of devices. What started as a need to tame semiconductor complexity turned into something I genuinely love building.
In open source, I'm an invited Committer and Code Owner on Apache Airflow, the world's most popular workflow orchestration platform (used by 77K+ organizations). I'm a Code Owner for the Edge Executor and Celery Executor β the distributed execution engines that keep Airflow humming in production environments everywhere. Real problems in the semiconductor space drive my contributions, and those contributions end up helping teams worldwide.
- Contributed critical features to the Edge Executor (AIP-69) β a new way to run workflows on remote and distributed hardware, shipping as a key Airflow 3.0 feature
- Code Owner for the Celery Executor β the most widely used production executor powering distributed Airflow deployments
- Contributions span Edge Executor, Celery Executor, Airflow UI, Core API, and CLI
- Airflow Summit 2025 β Semiconductor Chip Design Workflow Orchestration with Airflow
