Mockup Creator Skill

Turn an existing visual identity into a coherent, realistic and product-relevant brand mockup campaign.

This skill is designed for ChatGPT and Codex workflows that receive a logo, brand kit, website, repository or creative brief and need to produce a complete mockup system — not a random collection of objects with a logo pasted on them.

Why it is different

Before generating anything, the skill determines:

• whether the brand sells a physical product, an internet service or both;
• whether print deliverables belong to the brand;
• how customers and employees actually encounter the product;
• which mockup applications are relevant — and which should be rejected.

If those decisions cannot be inferred confidently from the supplied material, the skill asks the user before it starts creating.

Input

Provide one or more of the following:

• master logo in SVG or transparent PNG;
• brand kit, colors and typography;
• website or GitHub repository;
• product and audience brief;
• visual references;
• approved copy and usage constraints.

What the skill does

1. Inspects the available identity and product sources.
2. Classifies the product model and print scope.
3. Builds a compact brand and anti-vibe brief.
4. Selects 6–12 relevant applications across product, identity, environment and culture roles.
5. Generates each asset with the master logo as an identity reference.
6. Audits logo geometry, spelling, realism, materials, product relevance and consistency.
7. Revises only failed assets with targeted corrections.
8. Packages the approved system for handoff.

Output

Every completed run returns one downloadable ZIP containing:

• approved mockup images with stable descriptive filenames;
• PROMPTS.md with shared direction and per-asset prompts;
• MANIFEST.md with purpose, aspect ratio, copy and status;
• a contact sheet when the set contains more than six images.

Rejected iterations, temporary files and unrelated project files are excluded.
