Notification not working

When using apps like WhatsApp Web, the notifications simply don't work. Even though I have it enabled in WhatsApp's settings and in my macOS' settings.

It looks like Search never enables it when WhatsApp prompts if I want to enable notifications and I say "Turn on":

Every time I reload WhatsApp Web's tab it shows the prompt above.

Thanks for the screenshots. Web notifications aren't in Search yet, which is why WhatsApp asks again on every reload: the permission never gets granted. They're on the roadmap for later, as far as WebKit lets an app other than Safari have them: https://officecommun.com/search/roadmap

Done for 1.0.5, out in the next few days: sites like WhatsApp Web, Slack and Gmail can send notifications once you allow them, site by site. They come as the Mac's own notifications, with the site's name and icon, and a click brings the tab back. One limit: WebKit gives apps other than Safari no web push, so they arrive while Search is open. Settings › Privacy lists the sites you've allowed. Thanks for the clear report!
