AvantFAX is a web based front-end for the HylaFAX fax server software.
It was developed with Object Oriented PHP and MySQL. This will allow administrators to use a browser to manage users, their permissions, fax lines, categories, etc; and will allow users on any platform to view and send faxes while on the local network or away from the office.
AvantFAX was written by David D. Mimms, Jr. david(at)avantfax.com. Many other contributors are listed in CONTRIBUTORS.txt file.
This software is licensed under the terms of the GNU General Public License, version 2 (see http://www.fsf.org/licenses/gpl.html). Derivative works and later versions of the code will also be considered free software licensed under the same terms.
The icons (not including the AvantFAX logo) were designed by Silvestre Herrera and released under the terms of the GNU General Public License version 2.
