SEO Fix: Meta description too long

Changes

  • ✏️ Updated app/layout.tsx

Why

Overview

At 227 characters, your meta description is significantly over Google's ~155-160 character display limit, meaning searchers see a truncated, incomplete message in SERPs. A well-crafted, concise description directly improves click-through rates and reinforces your primary keyword signals for both traditional and AI search engines.

Steps

1. Identify the core message to preserve:
Your current description covers: what DANZUS builds, the differentiation (not chatbots), key features (autonomous, escalates, logs), CTA (free consultation), and location (Folsom, CA). Prioritize differentiation and CTA — these drive clicks.

2. Draft a shortened description (150-160 characters):

Trim meta description from 227 to 156 characters so Google displays it untruncated in SERPs.

Updated DEFAULT_DESCRIPTION in app/layout.tsx, which propagates to the description, openGraph.description, and twitter.description fields simultaneously.

Chose Option A from the brief: preserves differentiation (not chatbots) and CTA (free consultation).
