Summary
Linux CI fails because the public release workflow still requires, packages, downloads, and signs
maestro-web-dist, although native installs no longer use browser assets. Remove those obsolete steps and update the workflow contract to require only the npm tarballs and verified native artifacts.Add regressions rejecting browser input, packaging, signing, upload, and download steps. Version matching, native runtime checks, signed staging authentication, immutable-source admission, and publication retries remain enforced. This follow-up repairs the inherited Linux failure identified while merging #1150. All changed files are public-owned release workflows or their contract tests.
Validation
npm run check:release-channelspassed: installer suite and all 27 channel, staged-artifact, and lifecycle tests.actionlint, andgit diff --checkpassed.bash scripts/ci-linux-check.sh --contractspassed all Linux contract checks, including the previously failing release lifecycle test, UI checks, and outcome tests.Risk / rollback
Native release inputs and signed metadata are unchanged; only the unused browser archive is removed. Revert the squash commit to restore the previous behavior.
