When a polled page contains a request event followed by a terminal event for the same turn—for example, because another client resolved the request between polls—this immediate return leaves the later event unprocessed. The one-shot command then exits as if intervention were still required, while interactive mode exposes a stale request and waits for input even though the turn has ended; finish scanning the fetched page before deciding whether to yield for a pending request.

If the event endpoint returns reset_required after the target turn's terminal event has fallen outside the retained log, advancing directly to the snapshot cursor makes that terminal event permanently unobservable. Although the completed message may be printed from the snapshot, follow continues polling and eventually reports that the turn is still running; the reset path needs to recover the target turn's current state from the snapshot rather than only its messages and cursor.
